Adapt provides Residential Services to meet a range of consumers' needs, including 24 hour supervised group homes focusing on skill acquisition, therapeutic treatment for consumers with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders, and nursing home programs for consumers in need of intensive services.

Supervised Transitional Housing
Consumers live in a 24-hour supervised group home setting and are provided with recovery oriented support services focusing on skill acquisition. With a goal of transitioning to a less restrictive setting, support services incorporate evidence-based practices and include illness management and recovery, medication training and monitoring, crisis services, intensive case management, in vivo skill acquisition and support in role recovery. Nursing Home Programs
Consumers residing in a unique nursing home setting are provided with intensive services to support them in their living environment. Services are individualized and incorporate evidence-based practices. Services include skills building, medication training and monitoring, case management, illness management and recovery, crisis services, individual and group therapy, in vivo skill acquisition and support in role recovery. Intensive services are provided with the goal of supporting consumers in identifying and developing social, vocational, educational, and leisure skills that will enhance their lives and allow them to be successful in their living environments. Dual Diagnosis Residential Program
The Dual Disorders Center at Wilmer, Texas is committed to the treatment of persons who are living with co-occurring disorders of significant mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Adapt treats each disorder as a primary diagnosis. The program provides residential treatment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Treatment is facilitated by a multi-disciplinary support team in a structured, therapeutic environment. Available from Adapt of Texas. |
