Ms. Wagner is the Executive Director of Adapt Community Alternatives. As the Executive Director, Ms. Wagner oversees
the day-to-day operations of a multi-agency collaboration providing independent living services to adolescents and young adults in Chicago, Illinois.
Currently 145 youth are being served in the program. Ms. Wagner has worked for Adapt since 1997 and served for three years as Executive Director of Adapt of Missouri overseeing community-based services to adults with chronic mental illnesses. She also served as Program Director at Partial Plus, an Adapt of Illinois program which offered partial hospitalization and psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults diagnosed with both mental illness and substance abuse problems. Prior to her tenure with Adapt, Ms. Wagner worked for 12 years providing community mental health and substance abuse services in West Virginia, Massachusetts and rural Illinois. Ms. Wagner holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Western Illinois University. She completed additional graduate work in Counseling and Organizational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
