Ms. Epps is the Vice President for Service Design and Implementation for Adapt of America and also serves as the Executive
Director for Adapt of Texas, Inc.
Currently Adapt of Texas serves approximately 5000 consumers in 2 urban and 5 rural counties in North Texas. The service array includes a continuum of services from medication clinics to Assertive Community Treatment teams. Eighty nine percent of Adapt services are provided in the community. Ms. Epps has been with Adapt since 1993. Previously, Ms. Epps worked for a county mental health provider organization and directed rehabilitation and community based services, including vocational and homeless services, for 21 counties in the Texas Panhandle. Prior to her experience in the mental health field, for 10 years Ms. Epps provided and managed vocational services for developmentally delayed adults. Throughout her career, Ms. Epps has encouraged the provision of recovery oriented services and has assisted in the development and support of several consumer advocacy groups. Ms. Epps holds a MEd from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas.
